Our gang is now The Estacado Family
Time for our first scenario.

The Boss, Jim, and Tommy were taking a truck full of goods to a parking lot in the slums to trade for some quick cash with some Followers of the Sun. After they had unloaded a few boxes, two cop cars pulled up. By pulled up, I mean one parked outside and the other drove into the parking lot, hit one of the Followers, and opened fire onto the others. Boss, Jim and Tommy took cover as the blood was shed. Armed with only M1911s, the boss was going to have to give some good orders.

Crimson - Us. (Three units)
Blue - Cops. (Five units)
Green - Dead Followers of the Sun. (Three units)

CURRENT STATUS:
Boss - Standing behind truck. No notable injuries. M1911 in hand.
Tommy - Crouched behind front of truck. No notable injuries. Cannot exit cover or blind fire, pinned down by cop. M1911 in hand.
Jimmy - Crouched behind box. No notable injuries. M1911 in hand. Cover can be destroyed.

Each character can only move three spaces a turn, will refuse to move if somebody has them pinned, and can only shoot somebody within ten blocks with their current weapons, five if they're blind firing. The boss cannot die, but the other two can. The goal is to eliminate all the cops, talk it out with them, and/or get to the street. Anybody can give orders here, it's not restricted to grunter, so do it.

The boss would open fire upon the police officer keeping Jimmy stationary, possibly allowing jimmy to run over, Tommy would progress downwards one square, allowing for quicker help if possibly hit?

Boss scoots down to give Jimmy cover as the cop pops up to keep Jimmy IN cover. Boss hits the cop in the nose, and the cop falls over dead. Jimmy takes cover behind the boss, but then the cop behind the cruiser nails him in the leg, forcing him deeper into cover. Tommy moves down next to the door of the truck, but getting inside and driving away wouldn't be a good idea. The cop behind the truck moves down to keep the boss in cover, the cop by the street scoots up, and the cop keeping Tommy in cover moves forward.

Jimmy - Standing behind truck. Open bullet wound in leg. M1911 in hand.
Tommy - Crouching next to truck door. No notable injuries. M1911 in hand.

But he's not fat.
Fat people can't shoot cops in the face on their first attempt.

Boss, blind fire around cover.
Timmy, fire over the hood at the cop just across the way.
Jimmy, stick your fingers inside the wound to remove the bullet and any visible fragments, then apply pressure.  Tear a strip from your pants and tie it tightly around the wound, to keep pressure and stop the bleeding for now.

While Jimmy goes to work on his leg, the Boss and Tommy get busy. Tommy rockets out of cover and fires like a maniac into the cop, not giving him a chance to return fire. After wasting all of his ammunition, Tommy ducks back into cover, awaiting further orders. Boss pops a few caps into nearest cop's legs and waist. It wasn't enough to kill him, but it was enough to make him fall onto his head (in cover, sadly) probably breaking something. The cop behind the cruiser panics, slides over the car, and begins giving the wounded officer medical attention, but all it was doing was slowing down the fallen officer's demise.
