event_playerplus?

I was looking through my addons and found Event_playerPlus
Looking at the file, it's by amade, but other than that I can't tell what exactly it does. It effects the players appearance somehow, that's about all I can tell from the code. Does anybody recognize this? I'm not sure what it is or if it's worth keeping, couldn't find it via search either

Is the the events that let you change your name color on chat and above the player?
