How do I inspire/motivate myself to build things

I always try to motivate myself too, but I don't know why, I cant! I have too many good ideas which I'm afraid will be never used.
I lack patience, and give up easily if I have to redo something. My biggest problem with building on BL is when I make some sort of house and I wanna make everything up-to-par, like lets say I wanna make straight walls for a house, I use certain bricks but many times I mess up with the width and sizes of the bricks and everything becomes unequal. I cant really tell which bricks will fit best with the house and that will stay on the baseplate.
Anyone have any tips?

Have people helping you. That's my problem.
It's nice to not get so crazy because you're packed into your server alone. Having company helps.
