What happened to Pload's Jail Escape?

Pload's was good but the whole issue is that people didn't go and make another one.

Sure, its tough without the custom addons he made (tray, bucket, etc) but honestly I think with a little bit of careful design you could do something effective.

The simple difference between his jail escape and Jail RP's is that
1) policemen were limited to specific locations, giving the prisoners an edge, even though they could be killed on sight
2) prisoners were forced to coordinate/cooperate to succeed (unless the guards sucked stuff at shooting)

I think someone could make something just as fun using events and customized riot shields and limited number of "weapons" available. With the default bots out, creating a replica of the bot dog wouldn't be too difficult (although concessions will have to be made in terms of calling the dog to your tower).

Basically everything but the shields and vehicles (laundry carts) on the server are duplicable with events now. With that, one could just look through code for deflecting/shield items like Bushido's Riot Shield and also look into creating custom bot vehicles to act as those laundry carts.

I wouldn't advise copying their layout outright, however, since theirs depended on a lot of custom setup. But with careful planning and restriction of police/guard positions, and a well-designed prison that forces prisoners to sometimes venture outside in search of items/etc, without op weapons and hidden stuff, something on the level of Pload's could be made.

ploads jail escape:
1. host jail escape with custom add-ons that are simple
2. add a donation feature that gives any donators the same stuff, just colored differently
3. take money, use it on stuff you don't need
4. wait a year, and in the mean time, troll the community.
