The second thing is that you have a GTX 460...why in the world you pair a CPU like the AMD Sempron 140 with a GTX 460 (seriously, it makes no sense for you to do that)?

The problem is that the AMD Sempron 140 is bottle necking the GTX 460, you need to upgrade that CPU to something equivalent to the GTX 460 which could be an Athlon ii X4 or better yet a Phenom ii x4.

He needs to be sure his motherboard supports 125w CPU's though.

FF, why did he put a GTX 460 in the first place...like seriously? (most likely he did this, I doubt there would be any company that would match a single core amd cpu with a gtx 460)

I did it because my uncle works for Nividia and he gave me it for free  :cookieMonster:
I'm planning on upgrading my processor when I get my paycheck. I am wondering if there's anything else I should upgrade while I am at it.
My power source is 460watts or 500 watts. I'll check out the Athlons and phenoms at frys thanks.

You'll probably need a new motherboard that supports the higher wattage processors.
