No used games = More people buy new More people buy new = More money for devs More money for devs = Happy devs Happy devs = Lower prices for games Lower prices for games = Frowned upon $60 release Frowned upon $60 release = All games cost less All games cost less = Games affordable for all Games affordable for all = More purchases More purchases = More motivation to make quality games More motivation to make quality games = Quality games --- End quote --- this is so far away from how the industry works it's not even funny lmao |

The people buying used games are buying it to either 1. Save money, or 2. Cannot afford the price, so if they're buying used anyways there is actually a gain in profit rather than a loss because the people wanting to save are now forced to dish out full price and they get money for it rather than retailers that sell used games and those who can't buy it they wouldn't have seen money from anyways. |
