Author Topic: Users without linked keys able to post in Help.  (Read 1123 times)

I imagine many users who are planning to buy the game may have issues with the demo, like a certain event not working, and them not able to post and solve that issue might anger them and discourage them from buying.

Unlinked accounts should be able to post in Help.

So you want those chinese spam bots (We already have 10000 of them registered) to be able to actually post?

No thanks.

You are only thinking about the negatives.

It's way more hazardous than helpful.

You are only thinking about the negatives.
It could help cure cancer in several dozen cases
"It could unleash a radioactive incident the size of Chernobyl"
Oh don't be so negative

It's way more hazardous than helpful.

They will ONLY be able to post in help.

And badspot has access to a ban button.

there's over a hundred spambots though

Over 10000
inb4"It's over nine thousand!!!"meme.
This isn't a very good idea. You have to remember, with so many spam bots and proxies out there, Badspot couldn't ban them all.

Someone without a key is unlikely to go to the forums for help.

Most new people go to blockland.us, and will sooner go to this:
http://www.blockland.us/Support.html
Before they go to this:
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?board=3.0

There's more than enough info on that page to help a keyless person.

You are only thinking about the negatives.
If I were new, keyless, and needed help.

And I came and saw nothing but thousands of scam links in the help section, the only place I can post in.
I wouldn't bother posting.

Lol id love to see a subforum dedicated to spambots only and see the vast amount of spam that we're defended against.

"richard small? T0o small? Try viagr@ cheap!!"

Yeah problem with that is that they get a higher search engine rating if they spam our place with links.
