I hate to break it to you but that would work...
...quite horridly.
No one wants to sit there and load datablocks and objects all over again just to move between the forest and the blah realm. Then uh oh shoot I forgot to do blah blha blah over there, so you have to load 3 different servers just to get your little item. No, that would not be fun at all.

And if you do just say lol wateve we brothers bitch cunts cigarettegs then you have to create an outside program to manage your data. Considering you will probably host off of RTB, you will need to have (world count) amount of nodes to host off of. Then you all need to have them link to ANOTHER server hosting your data program. It would be come slow.

So this is based on SAO?

So instead we will probably make it just one server where all the missions are based around those few worlds. If we run out of room with the one server we will expand to a second server where all the missions will take place in the worlds on THAT SERVER. Here's a little plot twist for you, the pictures are outdated and the brick count for world one is a lot less than it looks like. 

  So even if we did two servers it would be a sort of disc one and disc two thing. Where the second your on disc two you only need to do things on disc two from that point unless you want to replay an area from disc one. The real problem with two servers like you said is we would need an outside program to manage data, and that's about it.

The size would bust the server with a chunk system. I laughed. Though I agree with the disc one/two thing, sounds good to me. I can almost imagine "you are done with server one! Connecting you to server two, good luck !!!

if heedicalking could find some half decent builders, it would be going great.. i for one pretty much bailed on him, and i dont think phantom knight could make the whole map himself. so build wise, i dont think its going anywhere - i havent seen his server for a while = (

dont take this as its dead tho, heed seemed pretty dedicated to getting it done

It's not dead, I was away. I wish monkey would come back though, he knew how to do the terrain right.

i personally don't follow SAO even though i'm asian but this looks amazingly good and shouldn't just stop like this.

It's not related to SAO is really any way other than the name and a couple of features. It isn't related at all with the main plot, characters, or story.

one problem i have with the terrain is that for any decent sized map, that style is going to murder the brickcount. im not suggesting baseplate cubes, but not only will it ages ages to make but it takes some skill to do it properly

so what you use are "new cubes" or cubes that are actually just raised baseplates/plates that work like 4x height, 5x height, so you don't have to compensate for plate height differences.

IIRC there's already a pack like that out there. if not, well, go make them then.
