More than text is improved, if you're going to be doing things like photo editing or even video editing. Also, resolution can be changed on a whim. But you've also got a point. The price jump for a retina Mac means you need to really utilize the retina resolution and pixel density. |

Sadly, there is nothing really out there that is a solid "gaming laptop" if you want gaming power, unfortunately you have to be going with a desktop. |
