He is actually right about the shadow issue stemming from bad drivers. He is wrong that a fix is available, one is not.

If OP wants to play Blockland with shadows, he'll need to get a windows machine.

I'm not sure. I'll try it out for you later but it will take time for me to boot it up to Windows 7 from Mac OSX then go back to Mac OSX. I'm on my iPad currently. I'm guessing it'll work fine.

Yeah because I remember Badspot saying this when shaders was first released.
