Blockland crashes whole computer

When I play blockland the game will randomly crash and freeze my entire computer. Then the only way to make it stop is either a hard reset or shutdown. I have re-downloaded BL but that only worked for a little while. Is there anyone who can explain why this keeps happening?
P.S. my internet is definitely fast enough (along with my computer) to run Blockland.

Blockland has been alowed on all of my security programs. When I play the game it will run fine for about an hour or two. then the game will freeze. Also if I'm listining to music the music gets jittery. I have also tested my hardware and it is operating at normal levels.

That has nothing to do as to why it crashes. What type of PC are ou running on, what OS, memory, processor, graphics card? To see these type this in "run" dxdiag.exe

ok but as I stated my hardware is up to specs
OS: Windows XP media center edition SP3
processor: AMD athon II X2 3.0GHz
RAM: 2.5 GB
Graphics: NVIDA GeForce 9800 GTX+ Black Edition 512 MB
