Author Topic: SailorMan's [BETA] Tactical D-Day TDM! Server Closed  (Read 5328 times)

Can't wait to see lots of "tactical" gameplay in any TDM server. Most of 'em are based on player skill instead of teamwork and strategy ... Hopefully we will set a precedent by hosting a high-caliber build like this.

Will artillery be available for the Germans to fire at the incoming landing craft?

A beta server will be up within the hour.  Here is another photo of the beach:

Maybe. We also have to event planes and stuff too.

Server is now open!

Some things to do:

Update the HE Grenades
focus on team work more
Get a few more events going
Edit classes a bit to reduce lag.
Opening hedgerows a tad.

Hey Sailor, do you think you'd be interested in making a trailer for this TDM? I had something in mind with a lot of action shots and the BF 1943 theme playing over the whole thing.

No thanks, I think we'll be handling it. However, I appreciate the offer.

No server progress lately, sorry.

Also, everyone keep in mind that we tried to be as historically accurate as possible. The only thing I didn't plan on was what beach it was xD

What is to come:
Im planning on possibly adding a (Most likely) admin only "French Civilians" team for fun. They'd be armed with kitchen utensils, or stolen German weapons. Their role is not to capture CP points, but rather get in the way of things, by being French Resistance, telling the Allied Forces where the Germans are, or even informants for the national socialists.
Yeah but I looked at the minigame avatars and the German's in the military thingy had national socialist armbands.

That is to get the point across. I know they didn't have them.
