people tend to give really stupid advice, like "don't go to the drama board" and "don't start drama or troll in anyway or you will be banned" which is actually worse because it's not even true avoiding Drama is really only important for the actual drama. small server and admin matters are fine, but any threads that are over ten pages long are probably really good threads to stay away from imo, important questions to ask of new users are whether they're familiar with the rules here, and whether they've used a forum before. if they answer yes to both of these, then they'll probably be just fine. if they answer no to the first, that's easily fixed, but for the second, there are probably a few pieces of advice you'd need to tell them, like how posting more than once in a row is looked down upon, and what some terms like "OP" and "ninja edit" mean |
