Author Topic: Kong123 & Ravencroft's 24/7 Trench Warfare [Died)) Might Come back.  (Read 11494 times)

Yesterday when I was playing sometimes when I respawned and entered the game I got that invincible glitch that was noticed on other Trench servers in the past. I ctrl k'd  every time it happened but it's annoying and some people might abuse the glitch. You may want to do something about it.
Yeah, I shutdown for a bit to get things cleaned up and such.

Because kong doesn't know the events to fix it. It's not onplayertouch>disabledamage, it's onplayerSPAWN>disabledamage. Plus kong has an old save. I recommend leaving the server password until I'm able to get on and load my save kong.

I'm in the server for derpness

A GUI made by Hammereditor will be coming in about a week! So stay tuned for my info about it!

Excellent :cookieMonster:
Even better: This GUI will have the Shop on the GUI along with how much it cost etc..
Also it will have a picture of the map so when people join they can know exactly what to expect and there will be rules on a different page so people know the expectations of the server.

If I can, I'll try to use TCP to make the GUI add-on do even more  stuff.
Like auto-updating. Also,    I will add a control panel,.which doesn't need  TCP.

Keep it up!

Be sure to ask the user before installing updates, so we can click "no".

Here's a big update on the project:
I need to do my Blockland stuff, too, so I will finish the project in 2 weeks instead of one. I won't be using   TCP as much. It'll only be for transferring the pictures in the weapon shop. There will be no auto-updating. All of that complex stuff will take too long. The only thing which will update as the server side updates is the weapon shop. But trust me, even with this system, it's not like Kong and Raven have to churn out an update every day. They will be able to add and remove weapons without updates.
Other than that, everything else will stay the same.

Kong123 and Ravencroft, I have an important question. Will there be 20 or so weps, each with its own price, or classes which have several weps?

Btw you cannot send binary files with TCP, only download from websites.

Can the client send a GET request to the server with HTTP, and the server sends images?

Here I will load the save a bit later and then you can see how many weapons there are.
