Author Topic: So why the random hate for weeaboos?  (Read 1971 times)

It's not really "random" hate.

It's not random hate

Just stop trying to be "different" by being all Japanese

I have no general distaste for weeaboos. I do not have a problem with you. And I do understand your attempt in the previous topic to find users who understand the language. But since most of us can identify who and who can't, and the utter lack of them. I and several other users found your topic to be generally, inappropriate because the generally used language on here is english. This is not due to discrimination. Its just a standard that would not be fit to be disrupted. A more productive measure would be to go practice typing/speaking japanese on a japanese forum. Or perhaps verbally practicing it with friends and or family.

It's not really "random" hate.
fair point, it's generally pretty well focused and more often than not justified

Stuff like what you're doing in the OP should give you a rough idea you know.

You just happen to incorporate it with a bit too much of what you do.

the more 'problematic' weeaboos are dumb and are unfortunately the apparent majority

probably due to age or something

those types also seem to have that annoying level of internet experience where they spew garbage from 2006 that are just annoying now

Just stop trying to be "different" by being all Japanese

i dont want to be "unique" or "different", i just want to enjoy the language with my fellow blocklandians

You could count the amount of people who speak Japanese here on one hand, two tops.
Half of these guys can't even speak English without butchering it, don't try to overwhelm them with stuff that they'll shovel into Google translate.

And back to the unique part, that kind of dies when you get to the internet since everyone boils down to a screen-name to keep tabs. It just comes off as the wrong way, and the history of other internet weeaboos doesn't start your interests off on the right foot either.

but nobody else does
there are whole forums for that stuff
it would be a lot better for everyone if you enjoyed the language with the people there, and enjoyed more common things here

Wouldn't it annoy you if for every post I made a reference to a tree?

If I may bark at you for a moment, let us chop down into why I think you're forcing your love for Japan too much.
- sure, only 3 posts had that signature post but you know there's a reason why there aren't any signatures on this forum and it deviated a few people from the topic
- that topic where you just spoke in japanese is considered spam, even if you did lock it that doesnt justify that you did it
- saying weaboo and defending it
- an image from an anime

Even if you did this for a single day in your whole story mode career of Blockland it can get anyone on you. That's the trunk of the problem and I hope you learn not to do what Taboo, if I remember correctly, did a bit ago where he posted a ton of anime reactions to different threads. I'm not completely complaining here, but I'm just enforcing that people don't like it when things they don't like pop up in places that they do like or something like that. Tommorow, just leave all this behind for a bit, okay? It's considered spam, let me echo that to you again, some pacing however really works out for those really low patience folk here.

Tree.

There's also not that much hate for 'weeaboos' on here. Its when they act like you do that they get noticed. Mainly because the group on here doesn't identify themselves or so quickly slap an identity sticker titled 'weeaboo' on their shirt and prance around in it.

flame i love you and all but i'm pretty sure that wasn't me or cass
that post was art though

okay fine
but look here
the first roadblock is that the great majority of us can't read japanese script.

Pero if you wanted to mandar con nosotros tu hablidad en hablando español that'd be great because es escribido en the roman alphabet.

and the second roadblock is other languages in a majority english forum is somewhat annoying like what i typed there.

Self entitled terms that people really get upset about

- Girl Gamer
- Brony
- Weaboo
- Tree hugger

Just don't identify yourself as a weaboo is what we're really saying here ;-;
