I've never had a problem with Craigslist

AN INUIT MAN CAN'T RUN A BUSINESS AND MAKE MONEY??

Holy stuff dood, you suck.

Craigslist is pretty much a beaten-down New York slum area. There are some people looking to make legit money, while the majority is the equivalent to a guy in an alleyway. Or at least in my vision it is. Plus, I never used craigslist.

was it a new phone like in box? i steal images from the net all the time when i sell things on ebay. maybe you were stupid to ask for images of something everyone knows what looks like. if he described the quality of the item and you have to inspect it yourself anyways if/when you pick it up, then pictures are unnecessary.

and why are you being concerned over grammar and format? its a loving simple html email system that craigslist uses.
wtf do you expect for a free service? the second they start charging you to post or reply to people is when you will have your fancy loving flash/java site made by the pros.

was it a new phone like in box?
If you read the listing, you wouldn't be asking this question right now. I don't know, it hasn't stated whether the item isn't new or not, that isn't the problem, even if it was still in it's original box then I'd take a god damn picture of it!

This has gotten me so mad. I explained in the original post that I asked for more images because on the following listed images, I saw several different scratches on the photo. This photo in particular I could see white blemishes on the bezel, I wasn't sure whether it was to do with the camera's stuff quality or if it was a completely different image to the first.

Here's the two images on the listing that looked pretty different:

You can maximize this for the full resolution of the picture as I can't be arsed to do it for you. I know what a bloody iPhone looks like! I don't think I asked for a picture for that reason. Please read the topic before you go assuming things like that.

If you read the topic again, you'll see the email which says:
Quote from: Me to seller
Could you give me some more pictures? because on the craigslist pictures I can see some scratches on the bezel area. Also could you add a signature on the image too to make sure it isn't a stock image on google? I can't be too sure because Craiglist is much more run down than eBay and I don't want to get scammed. I can't take any risks.

Do you also accept Paypal as a payment? That's the only way I can send payments.

and why are you being concerned over grammar and format? its a loving simple html email system that craigslist uses.
What the forget? I didn't even say anything about the HTML email system or whatever the hell you're jabbering on about now. I said I wasn't too sure on the formatting because he didn't introduce himself the traditional way by doing the standard 'Hey, Darren' and ending it with 'Thanks, Pat', and that his grammar isn't on the convincing level. If I sold something on eBay, I'd reply in full form, I wouldn't write a half arsed e-mail back to somebody who is interested in the product. Don't get mad because of my personal preference, again you're nitpicking.

so how exactly COULD it be a scam? the guy isnt offering to mail it to you when you send him money first. you inspect it when you meet up. how do you think craigslist works lol

He gave me several different images, he said he'd mail it to me. Need I say more?

Usually people on Craigslist don't have high quality cameras like the one that was used to take that photo.
