So how do you guys make your profile pictures?

I made a transparent background in Paintbrush. Than I put a white J on it. I than zoomed in and slowly and painfully applied the blue; one pixel at a time.

Jeez, dude, even Paint.NET can do that in a pinch

I'm on a Mac. Sooo Paintbrush is the only program I could find.
