Let's assume we achieve the goal of communism and no one is poor.  Then everyone would become poor again.

The reason why we can afford things is because people have enough money to create things we will buy but they can't afford to buy it themselves.  If they could afford the things they are making then none of it would get to us, and the things that do get to us will have a HUGE markup.

Sorry if I explained it poorly, I'm trying to watch a movie.
