Resetting inactive players names?

I got this idea from a friend who was talking about his name that he wanted being took and he was wondering if the names ever get reset for inactive accounts

Why not, they are not active why should they have names that other people might want?

I quit BL for 2 years, and came back. Now I play every day. I'd be pissed if I came back and my name was taken.

Uhh no, thats like saying you don't own the account anymore...technically no but technically yes...you bought the game and you picked a name and then all because you stopped playing for a while your name gets changed.
