Constantly spamming stuff at the Greenlight staff, ect. --- End quote --- Nobody is going to send this except for me. I'm mailing it on Monday. --- Quote from: Buu on April 07, 2013, 01:56:16 AM ---can some one snip it and pm it? the vita browser is unsupported --- End quote --- --- Quote ---My name My address My City, State ZIP April 6, 2013 Alden Kroll UI / Interaction Designer Valve Software PO Box 1688 Bellevue, WA 98009 Dear Mr. Kroll: Being a customer of Valve’s Steam platform, I was excited to learn about the new Greenlight process for including games on Steam. However, with rumors circulating that Valve will be ending the Greenlight program shortly, I have grown concerned that a game which is particularly special to me will not make the cut. Roughly six years ago, I was shown a game called Blockland by a friend, who encouraged me to buy it. Shortly thereafter, I fell in love with the game, and began to create add-ons and modifications for its community. This was the springboard of an entirely new direction in the course of my life, inspiring me to change my choice of career, improving my relationships with others, and changing my entire outlook on the world. Blockland was the flame that lit a fiery passion for programming in me, the same one that I’m sure burns in many others’ minds, and probably your own. I have nothing to thank for this other than Blockland and the small team behind it; they have truly inspired me. I feel confident that I am not alone in saying that Blockland has been a positive force in my life. Many members of the community have shared the same sentiment, stating that this game encouraged them to change their career paths and more. It might seem ridiculous that one game can so greatly impact the lives of so many, but I believe this to be the case. For the Blockland community and its creators, it will mean the world if Blockland is accepted on Steam Greenlight. This game is not the work of weeks or months, it is a creation that is almost ten years in the making and is still actively developed. For the members of its community that have enjoyed it since the beginning, Greenlight will safeguard their childhood game, the game that inspired them to dream. For recent members and those still to come, accepting Blockland on Greenlight will ensure that they, too, have an opportunity to experience this wonderful, life-changing game. I strongly urge you to visit the Blockland page on Greenlight, where you will see a high demand for the game, and to seriously consider its addition to the Steam store. You can select games that are merely a passing source of entertainment, or you can choose a game that has touched lives, inspired careers, and created dreams. The choice is yours, but I ask you on behalf of the Blockland community to help us inspire a new generation of Blocklanders. Thank you. Sincerely, My Name Valve and Blockland Customer --- End quote --- |

Something tells me that its not just gonna get greenlit because of this, maybe more. I'm not copying what Buu is saying, we might just in fact get a bit more attention that simply being greenlit because especially at the end what he said is pretty convincing. |
