How much performance would particle detection take out?

what we really need is a third set of brickgroups that, like modter and zonebricks and water, don't interfere with normal bricks, but all three of those interfere with each other. so, a third or even more brickgroup would allow for a lot more modularity, but i don't have any idea on the mechanics of it, so i don't know how feasible it is.

Because it's not the brick itself stopping the precipitation.
It's the physical zone within it.
Each water brick is 2 objects. A FxDtsBrick and a PhysicalZone.
Zonebricks use 3 objects. A FxDtsBrick, PhysicalZone, and a Trigger.
