But it doesn't give you the nice lighting effects and other things. --- End quote --- Lighting effects like bloom, ambient occlusion, and real-time shadows? Unity Pro (commercial) supports real-time shadows, and T3D supports real-time shadows on Windows. (Not because of T3D limitations, but because Mac OpenGL library support is lacking I believe.) I'm not sure I want to become a part of the team but I might do a few models for fun. |

Unless you want to get a 3rd party code that will still cost some cash... Of course, even if you do become part of the team, you won't have to do anything more. I guess I should have said "Credit" instead of team. But we'd love that :) |

What kind of license will the game have? Open-source or closed source? |

--- Quote from: Demian on May 13, 2013, 10:20:05 AM ---What kind of license will the game have? Open-source or closed source? --- End quote --- It actually might be open source. Depending how soon I want to implement mods. However, it most likely will be closed source cause I don't really want all of our models and other things going everywhere. Also here's how you give me the models, (Just a few steps). 1. When you are giving me the model, MAKE SURE the textures are not on the model. 2. Send me the model and the textures separately. 3. Make sure your model is grouped into different sections, make sure that you name the groups to how you want the texture (e.g. Group name: Scratched Metal Texture Name: Scratched Metal) Make sure it's in .OBJ form or .3DS. |

Blockland isn't open source and see how many mods we have. |
