I have to agree with this.

Neither Bitcoin or Litecoin will get you anywhere with CPU mining. You'll end up with just get a few cents every day, potentially adding up from 3 to 9 USD per year.
Your best choice at this point is to give up.

I like small amounts of money. I want to use it as a hobby, not as a source of money. I'm not aiming to get thousands.

I don't have many applications running at the same time.

Plus, I leave it on at night.

I think my previous Windows 8 computer would have been better.

But, for some reason, BitMinter didn't show the GUI.
