I'd continue with the terrain a bit more. Loving it so far, though.

its nice up to the cliff where the quality just plummets

unless it isn't a cliff; if so make it more clear by adding mroe ruins. the lack of use of plates here takes away from the quality; it really doesn't take that much more effort to put in that last measure of detail which adds so much to the looks.
