We really only used the trees because they were mildly intriguing, and because we wanted to save a bit of bricks, considering it's already well over 40,000 bricks and we've only barely started on the interior. Additionally, as I said earlier, what can we do to make it look less bland?

add some facades that are not totally parallel to the rest of the hull, maybe some cool buildings jutting out or some  balconies and such

Not quite sure what you're talking about, maybe an example? Or is this completely original?

i'm sayin instead of having the entire hull be on one plane and straight, maybe make the hull curve a little more like an actual yacht

Very, very nice. I really like the exterior.

Two things though (and only two things):
The trees look strange (brick-built or pine might look better), and the interior needs to be lit a little better (good example of what I mean is the basketball court, it's dark as hell in there)

Alright, we've done a bit of work. Sadly, we haven't done anything more with the interior, or the hull, but we hope to soon!

First of all, here are some pictures of what we have done over the course of the past few hours.




I will tell you now that these aren't final changes, these can and will likely be altered to achieve the best quality possible.

Furthermore, I would like to ask for any suggestions as to what we should do with this, and once again, I present the question of what we can do to improve the quality of the ship. Any suggestions will be taken into consideration and we just might add in what you're thinking about.

(I also apologize for the very generic building to the left in the last picture, it's being worked on currently, and will look much better tomorrow.)

add some white/light colored accents to the back balconies. possibly fences if you can fit them.
though i think you already plan to add those.

is that a lighthouse? would be a pretty interesting thing to see on a ship.

for the top deck you could add bushes or other such foliage. it currently looks a little bare, foliage-wise. flowers would also do nicely.
