Why not solo most missions?
I strictly solo/coop with buddies/clan members unless it's an alert.

I like having teammates, maybe it's just the fact that I prefer team based games like TF2 and Halo's Slayer gametype

neither of those are team games though.
TF2 = play whatever you want and do whatever you want
Halo = play whatever you want and do whatever you want

Eh, TF2 encourages you to play as a team, and it's just easier to play as a team in Halo.

I thought the exact same thing when I was told that the REAPER PRIME has the second lowest base damage of heavy melee weapons. The weapon can be improved with mods, anyway.
