Tips for any newcomers to this server:

* Don't use the P90.
* Don't use the P90.
* Don't use the P90.
You get TONS of kills this way.
CheeseDragon:
The guns seem to cost way more than they really are

This is happening to all of us on the server :(

That's the gimmick of inflation. It's intentional. I wish I was able to make the player kill vary by inflation too, though, that would make things look less scary-priced, and add better rewards for those who play on high inflation. For further clarification, added to OP.

--- Quote from: LeetZero on April 16, 2013, 07:15:43 PM ---For further explanation how inflation and shop prices work: <var:br:price> * <var:mg:inflation>. "price" being the base price of the weapon, appearing on the "info" brick. "inflation" being the current inflation, to see the actual price of an item, you pres the "sale" brick.
For example, a $400 weapon with inflation 2 will cost $800. With it 0.5, $200. Inflation can have up to 3 decimals (I.e. 1.234). The price on the info brick is "base price" so the user can see the difference of prices. Additionally, adding the actual price to the info brick means making each separate brick a sales brick, and it would use <var:nb_[name]:price> to get the price. But that means having about 30 different named bricks only out of sale bricks. A workaround would be to make a single master brick that has 30 different values, like pricemagnum, pricep90,...price[name], each single info and sale brick to grab the price info from that sole master brick. But that means, once more, remaking the whole shop event system, requiring 60 brick modifications on about 120 event lines. This would've been better if it was thought for the start. But well, I made a mistake.

Also yeah the P90 has hell of a RoF with ammo. Considering to raise price on some SMGs. P90 to $2500 mainly. Anything else you guys would want "semi-nerfed"?

But what is exactly the point of inflation? It just gave me more of a reason to leave because the enemy had better weapons before the massive cost and I couldn't afford anything.

Price changes, one can use their money on high prices to get a weapon or play normally, be patient and wait for a smaller inflation and get more weapons.
As I said, the system would be even better if it would be somehow possible to also include the inflation value to the money you get from killing someone, thus in a big inflation everyone gets more money and more profit.
I actually think of a way of doing that, and actually adding full pay randomization for every kill you do. Perhaps even a "Lucky shot" chance which refills your health.
I'll begin working on a "demo" of the system, see if it actually works fine. Mind joining me in LeetZero's Testing for actual testing? Got the event ready, but I don't have whom to test it on.

Something keeps loving up. Set inflation to 1 and disabled inflation system for now.

Ragequitted on my own server. The inflation is turned back on.

Working on Twogrand
Twogrand, namely The Grand, is now finished. Will be added to OP with also a new feature: Lucky shots. Each kill grants 1 out of 4 chance to get your full HP back. As much as realistic that is, that would be the only mean to get HP back in the battle.
