Programming languages I'm good at and use:

I don't really like programming languages.

Scripting languages I'm good at and use:

  • TorqueScript
  • JavaScript
  • Python
  • LUA
  • A few other ones I forgot to list.

Markup languages I know:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • I can never remember everything when I'm trying to list things.

I know PHP, Javascript, html, some jquery, and CSS.

Out of these, the following are programming or scripting languages:

  • JavaScript

Try again.

It's worth mentioning Portie babe.

How can you make programs when you're busy urinating quarks?
Says the person who also urinates quarks
Quarks are subatomic particles inside of all atoms
I pee quarks
You pee quarks
WE ALL PEE QUARKS

I can program in VB, does that count?

VB
TorqueScript
JavaScript
C# (Just a barley)

What? Nobody uses C++? It's my favorite and I use it all the time.
I use it, it's one of my all-time favorites.
Javascript is a client-sided language for websites and stuff. Java is some gay ass stuff that Minecraft was made in.
Java's not that terrible of a language (it is still bad), however Minecraft is and still is a horribly written game.

I know very few programming languages but here are the ones I know:
  • DarkBASIC (DarkBASIC Professional)
  • GML (Game Maker Language)
  • A bit of TorqueScript (Blockland)

I know a good deal about C++. I'm going to college for Video Game Programming actually

I have a game idea, but it's so early in development that we haven't got one model finished yet
Being made using UDK and Blender currently.

I know HTML, CSS, Torquescript, some Javascript and I'm going to be learning a lot more C++ this summer as my dad agreed to pay for any and all of my certification tests

They are completely different and have nothing to do with eachother at all. It's just a coincidence that they both have "Java" in them.
Javascript is a client-sided language for websites and stuff.

b-but

nodejs :panda:

I've tried to learn, it's too hard and requires too much patience.
I have no motivation or interest to code.

Choose Python. It's a good language for beginners, from what I've heard. The syntax is quite readable and easy to understand. Also, all the documentation (examples and stuff) include references to Monty Python, which is kinda cool :)
So if I learn Python, what could I do with it?

I know I should research this myself but you said you have experience with it so..

Windows CMD I know a lot of commands, but isn't a programming language.
A bit of TorqueScript.

I know Python quite well, in my opinion at least. However I never seem to finish anything.
I did make a raycasting 'Engine', but I haven't worked on it in a while.

I also know some HTML 4, and CSS, but not HTML 5 yet.
