No, he's not being a richard. All he is doing is telling you to modify your post, so the topic doesn't get ~5 pages of you posting when it really needs less than 1 page. Also, people dislike it when you double post in general, so you should use modify in other topics as well.

This, for sure. Just a few things we all have to pick up when we join. I didnt know a few of these things when I first joined either.
