Its funny because if I remember correctly Niven is big into COD and not so big into Battlefield

Yes! I can't wait for Microsoft to further forget over PC gamers by forcing DirectX on everyone (who, because of MS's bullstuff marketing, believe that DirectX is actually faster/better than OpenGL). At least it will presumably be running DirectX 11 or 12.
