Character's biography/back-story: 
Ron Picardo was a high school graduate who had aspirations to achieve great heights in the military academy. He planned on following his fathers footsteps in hopes of one day becoming a Sergeant Major. As Ron grew, matured and excelled in the military academy he was halted by a shocking person like creature in an afternoon patrol. After the creature attacked him, Ron killed the zombie like character and soon alerted his captain in command. Shortly after the attack, Ron tuned into his radio and overheard the zombie epidemic and immediately abandoned the military base. He quickly rushed to his parents house in hopes of still finding them alive and retreating to where ever was safe.

Arriving at the house, he notices blood and quickly presumes that his family is gone. Shocked and saddened by the misfortune, Ron gathered his emotions and wandered over different cites to gather supplies and survive. He encountered many obstacles such as zombies, and bandits, but he managed to survive through the sheer luck and determination that he mustered up. As a year passed he eventually discovered many hidden talents such as hunting, fishing, surviving, and anything he can manage to do with his hands. Finally settling down, tuning into a nearby radio that he found on one of his daily patrols for food, he heard what was called a safe heaven in the Greenwoods not to far from where he was set up. Upon hearing this news he stumbled upon the campsite and found the survivors he was looking for.

Character's bio/back-story:
A college grad that turned to a life of crime. He constantly got caught doing crimes. He was always the gunner and the watchdog in these schemes, when, on the biggest crime in his career, he was attacked by what he later realized was a zombie, he killed it, got into his car and heard about the zombie epidemic, he started driving as fast as possible to his safehouse.
Upon his arrival, he noticed the door was off its hinges, and there were blood and corpses everywhere. He ran in there and saw a zombie eating his boss. He killed it, took his boss' ammo, grabbed as much ammo as he could carry, took it to his car, and drove to the safest place he could think of, his private bunker. He got there, and brought everything inside, and blocked off the door, and held out there.

He drives up slowly in a abandoned highway, many destroyed vehicles lay there. He begins to remove, tear off, and loosen off some parts and begins to store them in the back of his truck. He continues to drive, with a left hand on a wheel. A soft drone from the engine with a few tiny bumps as the truck races down the road. He passes by a sign reading "Welcome to Greenwood!", his head following the sign as it passes by. He then sees a well fortified town.

A tall man with a with snow-white hair emerges with a friendly mutton-chops beard. (Google it if you don't know what a friendly mutton-chops beard is.) He wears a cowbow's hat, brown leggings with leather boots. and a combination of a red and white skiing jacket. He also wears orange shades that reflect whatever he sees. He has a cigarette in his mouth. As he steps out the truck teeters slightly.

As he stands in the middle of the road he inspects the town carefully, so this is the great town of Greenwood I've been hearing about... I expected better. He looks down at his belt, there's a holster there, but no gun. He looks at the holster, then at the town. He shifts his cigar to the other side of his mouth, he gets into his truck and begins to drive towards it. This town looks like it has potential.

    John Freeman is a man who never complained. He always adored survival and technology shows, he even tried it himself sometimes. Pitting himself to surviving and trying projects like trapping and wiring. He never was to expect that the apocalypse was coming. He was one of many people who actually looked like they prepared for this.
    However, John was always in disputes with is parents. They told John that he would eventually kill himself if he didn't cease trying to survive by himself, John didn't want to hear it. John stated to imagine that his parents might be right after all. So he started painting, and painting. Then he painted a picture of the forest. John marveled at the masterpiece he had created, he never thought he could do something like this!
    John thought it couldn't get better than this, he began to paint camouflage, He quickly erased the painting, he had remembered that his parents had told him. John was alarmed to see a new revolutionary piece of technology come out! It was called the Genemeter! Despite John's current despise for his parents he had ordered them a copy of it. He did not expect for them to.. Turn into, beings.. John was horrified of what they. No, IT was.

     Leon was born on August 9th, 1985, and left to adoption on the streets of an old Minnesotan town. He was found and raised by nuns in a run down chapel that could barely take care of him. During his years in the chapel, Leon remained disciplined and straight forward. He never broke anything, he never threw a fit, and he never really caused trouble. Leon was greatly appreciated at the church for his good behavior until it's service to the town was needed no more. On December 13, 1990, the church property lot was sold to be a super mall. The church gave up Leon to an elderly woman who was nice in personality, however only a few months later the elderly woman died of a heart attack. Lost and confused at an age of 5, he wandered his old home which had become the super mall. As he wandered the super mall surviving with the water fountain and leftover food from the nearby McDonalds for weeks, a local mall cop took notice and took him into his family. The cop name was Jason Helifax, and Leon got his name from him.
    
     At age 6, Leon was enrolled into Aspeum Elementary for Kindergarten through the 5th grade. He learned to read and write, behavior and manners, his colors, rocks and minerals, and all of the basic elementary knowledge. He was the tallest in most of his classes k-5th. He was bullied as "the teacher's pet", but he really didn't mind. All he cared about was good grades and making him and his teacher happy. After Kindergarten, Leon learned about space and astronauts and all the cool stuff they did. He decided that he wanted to go into space and explore the stars and observe the world. In that event, he asked his new father how to be one. Jason told him it would be tough, but with Leon's grades he could probably make it. With that goal in his mind, Leon advanced his way through the grades with flying colors. At his graduation from the 5th grade he was pointed in the yearbook as "Most Likely to Succeed!" and that made his will even stronger. During the summer, Leon played sports like soccer, because it seemed like the less harming sport to his father. This got him athletic and helped to where he was going to for Middle and High school.

     At an age of 12, he was happy to be sent to a top leading boarding school near the capital of the United States. He wore his light maroon uniform with pride and dignity. He worked hard to stay in the school at the very beginning and till the end. During this period he learned about what responsibilities he would be taking on as an astronaut. He took AP Psychology, Language A, Language B, Social Studies, Science, Math, and Reading. As a bonus, the school took him into a space camp for one summer for his field because of his top grades. As he went through the 7 grades working hard and acing his tests,he finally finished with a beautiful diploma to take home to his dad. Since Leon exceeded standards, the school recommended him for the next training session for space-flight. A few months after his graduation, he went straight for the testing and qualification to become an astronaut. After that he qualified for entrance into the training for space-flight and becoming what he always wanted, to be an astronaut.

     During his 2012 space-flight training, he had heard news about the new drug that everyone was talking about. He was hesitant to take it because he had never tried one of these things. One day, he noticed one of his co-workers acting funny and he started noticing other co-workers acting the same way. They started turning into what he thought were zombies. As they started killing his co-trainees he ran as fast as he could to his car and he drove to the near by JBAB air force base, he noticed them evacuating while a line of people waited in line to get in. As the infection started to come to the base, he left his car along with many other people and fled into the base. As he was evacuated along with the rest of the base, they flew to Alaska, as this was where the Military was gathering.

this just sounds too cliche and mary sueish from the get-go. you wrote an entire biography for the guy and i respect that, but reading through it i dont have very positive expectations for the character.
also do we really need a repeat of teoras1? iirc meowington is not a socially acceptable last name for a space-age human being
