Author Topic: What is going on with Half-Life 2: Episode Two? (Read 476 times)

Recently, when I went to Stage 'Our Mutual Fiend', all of a sudden, the sound files of the other characters mostly don't play, so I can't seem to follow the story-line properly. I have subtitles turned on, but I feel more comfortable with the characters having their sound files played. Any way to fix this? I also re-installed the game, started a new game, but no luck.

Right click on the game, go to Properties, then to Local Files and then click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
