Permanent Fake-kill and space skybox with earth below the ground

I need it directly below the ground and it has to be bigger, filling up the whole bottom image of the skybox

which update made that work?
if i recall correctly, that only worked with dissapear, but not with fakekill

Maybe when the gamemodes came out?
Because when I tried in v20, I couldn't do it.
