My guess is that some website is stockpiling BLID's sort of like Game Dujour (RIP in peace) did to sell for later use.

Though 8,000 keys is a bit much.

Yes, and they may sell it for slightly more. So instead of selling them for $19.95 they would instead sell them for $20 making $0.05 from each sale.

What they're doing is legal, and if they did actually buy 8,000 keys Badspot would of made a stuffload of money.

I bet RTB just stopped tracking IDs for a while because of that IP: glitch. The IDs are in use, RTB just isn't tracking them yet.

no i dont think so. its a huge leap. we were in the lower 40ks then it just jumped up to 50k.

It's probably this, maybe in conjunction with something else. There's no apparent reason for him to skip IDs.
