Ephi, the reason most of the community, or parts of it atleast doesn't like you, is because you treat them like stuff, as said, you can't just have the power to treat the community however you want because you made a famous mod, you have to give them respect like they give you.

If we don't give him that respect, he isn't obligated to be a sweet-heart to us.
We all act crazy to one another, our reactions to one another is unheard of too, I could see why Ephi calls us "abnormal" as a community.

being a mod is a thankless, payless job. its not like ephi gets a free gold edition blockland that we cant or something.
claiming hes abusing his modship is also ridiculous as he has nothing to gain from it.
we all vent at each other in this forum, i think you guys are butthurt because as kids you still feel the need to rebel against authority, and see ephi as a personal threat to you.
when in reality he could give a forget about you either way. and thats the only way it should be for any of us to treat each other.

In any other community yeah, a moderator's job is basically to set an example and be friendly but incase you hadn't noticed - this is hardly a normal community. The approach to moderation and administration is so incredibly different to other forums that there is actually a designated forum for users to specifically stuff on eachother. You won't find that in many places haha.

My job as a moderator is to move threads and lock pony topics, basically. I think I do an excellent job. Fan mail now being accepted and replied to with a personalised message!

I'm pretty sure you do that to be a richard to a fanbase. I know, a loving forest fire can start if someone makes a pony topic and anti-bronies take a peek at it, but lend them a bone. You even banned pony-related add-ons on RTB.

Badspot and Ephialtes get their richards sucked here only because they are moderators. As much as I approve Badspot's forum rules and such, people just look at Badspot, Ephialtes, and the rules as God, Jesus, and the Ten Commendments.

They aren't kissing his ass, they are simply justifying his actions over yours because of your general attitude.

People here dislike you, and unless you too work on your general attitude, you will continue to have to deal with people like above.

hes a mod on the forums, he has no power in game that other users can't have. "hes a forums moderator" as a reason to behave well in game is dumb. the forums are so loosely linked and insignificant compared to the actual game. half these stupid "drama topics" appear because people spend more time browsing this stuff instead of playing the actual game.

You pose a really compelling argument there, in a community where the users themselves are starfishs; moderators should set an example, but in the case of the forums ... themselves, being set up in a way that actually brings hostility is....

I guess I never really thought of the true nature of these forums.
