I'm going to sound like a hypocrit here, but it's not a democracy. Sorry if you didn't get the memo.

Also, there were like 12 topics the last time it happened. Some of them needed to go.

This stuff makes me cringe. Are we really to the point of desiring termination of the discussion because we don't like it? Do we really need to discuss the whole "you're powerless" thing again?

other then perhaps lack of forum modding, we wouldnt really be any different here. i mean what exactly is ephi loving us over with?
maybe if kalph hadnt had a stick up his ass fighting ephi all these years it wouldnt be personal. and none of these issues would matter.

Ephialtes has shown anti-communal behavior consistently since he started the following:
1) censoring criticism and suggestions of and for his mods
2) unwarranted deleting of posts (including deletion of recent posts in order to knock a topic off the 1st page and removal of evidence identifying him as a computer attacker)
3) stuffting on threads but disallowing that (by "that", I mean "tame" stuff in comparison) in his own
4) prioritizing his power over what's good for the community
5) creating made-up ideals that "communal contribution" mandates abuse of power
6) artificially terminating any negative discussion about him (by locking threads)
7) mixing personal issues with the areas in which he has power to damage his "enemies"
8) not being open to suggestions (such a communal contribution should get communal suggestions, right?)
9) ignoring a small job that could fix multiple broken features for 2 months (communal contribution anyone?)

There's a difference between pointing out how silly and irrelevant something is (also requesting a stop to it) and terminating a topic (with account action being threatened in case of revival, as Rotondo, without inserting his input into the situation, explained to me).

There's a difference between pointing out how silly and irrelevant something is (also requesting a stop to it) and terminating a topic (with account action being threatened in case of revival, as Rotondo, without inserting his input into the situation, explained to me).

This fallacy avoids the argument by shifting focus onto something's or someone's origins. It's similar to an ad hominem fallacy in that it leverages existing negative perceptions to make someone's argument look bad, without actually presenting a case for why the argument itself lacks merit.

You're ignoring his point because he's in "no position to judge". If it was anyone else making said points, they could be judged fairly and openly, you're just disregarding them.
