Major things of rogue likes: randomly generated, TURN BASED, and perma death. (With the exception of perma death, it doesn't really need to be there)
When I read something on the fact Rogue like was becoming loosely used I didn't think much of it but clearly a bunch of people have no loving idea what a Rogue Like is.

there's really no need to swear and such, all those games have at least 2/3 of the three qualities of a roguelike
i specifically said that it may not fit the ultimate definition of roguelike, but they are still partially like roguelikes, which there is no denying they ARE. the term rogue like is starting to change, and now-a-days stuff like binding of isaac IS considered a rogue like (or er... a rogue like-like, haha)
