Im just curious as to what OS the majority of people use to run their Blockland servers use. If you want, post why you use it also.

Personally I run mine on linux (centos 6.4) because I can run a Blockland Speedkart server that holds at least 4 players and maybe more on a computer with 240MB* of memory.

I use windows XP. Why? Because my computer won't run anything more and XP is good for gaming regardless.

Well, I mostly use hosting services such as RTB and Kaphost. And those both use Windows Server.

Though I just host on Windows 8 for personal servers.

RTB uses Windows Server 2008 R2.

Kaphost uses Windows Server 2008 R2. I use Windows 7 if I need to develop something.

I think the last server I hosted was on Ubuntu.

Edit: actually I think my brother hosted one on his computer, which is on Windows 7 x64. Which actually may have been the last server I hosted.

and a long time ago, I hosted on an XP laptop.
