The only slate maps I ever liked were the Slate Fields Series and Celestial Dreams.

infact, to make this easier, here's a .blend file of the entire map that i found

I could export the map as a dts model so you can import it, scale it, then use it as one huge 3d blueprint.

What i suggest doing is first importing it to a v19 copy or something, scaling the dts so it matches the map's size, the use the scaling values on it in v21, then build around it.

Also, does anyone know a way to convert the terrain maps to some kind of bitmap? that way i can load it up and generate it in game using these steps?

Megaguy2:

that'd help, yeah. Demian did something similar when making his bedroom. If you were to do that you should make the model transparent so i can build in it and see what bricks i built.

(also i didn't make that .blend, siba did, i found it in some old topic about spyglass)

the .blend is litterally the exact same model. i'm convinced it's the same size as the old map, but there were posts about different sized versions..
