Opinions: get Wii U + MHTU?

I've only played the demo of the 3ds version of tri and i found the text hard to read with 3d on :(

I dont know what your talking about. I have the 3ds version and it is the best game I've ever played, I don't notice any of the flaws your mentioning, the graphics are beautiful and the text boxes are perfectly sized

the 3d is nice but different layers go on top of one another, and that gets a little annoying.
