How do I run a CityRP?

Before I begin, if I'm posting in the wrong place, or this question has been answered somewhere else, please help me find the right place to be.

I used to run a dedicated CityRP server, but evidently I've managed to completely forget EVERYTHING about Blockland over the past year. I have an IBans CityRP .zip file, but I have no idea what to do with it. Can you please tell me, in noob terms, how to start up a CityRP?

Here are the things you should do:

1) delete Ibanz's mod
2) Download VCE
3) Learn VCE
4) Master VCE
5) Create your own city rpg mod using events

Or

1) Delete Ibanz's mod
2) learn the python programming language
3) create your own mod

Or (and I only include this to incorporate all possibilities)

1) Don't delete Ibanz's
2) follow the below:

What you first need to do is create a system of roads.  Try ane make it not based on a grid, because those dont last long.  Then, you need to make a bank and a food store.  Do this by making a building for the bank, then placing the bank brick (you can find it in the brick menu under the City RPG tab), you can also place an ATM brick outside the bank.  Make another building for the food store and use the food events, which if I remember correctly, require you to input a meal size, the return (how much you want for selling food to someone) on it, and the name of the food product.  You have now created a city rpg, congrats.  If you need a gun building, which someone always ends up making, do the same for the guns as you did for the food, but with the buyitem event, or whatever it is.

Again, I heavily suggest learning VCE, because I was in the process of making a completely VCE driven City RPG "mod" for a long time, and even way before I had it done, I had a good number of people attending my server and backing my progress, because VCE is easily customized ingame and can be immediately fiddled with in case of a malfunction.

I'm pretty sure you meant Torque. Blockland cannot python.

Bull
stuff
This is a waste of time, don't go for this

And if you don't have scripting knowledge you can probably forget creating a new mod in reasonable time.

So your best go is using the mod you already have

City RP knowledge only for so far as servers that have the specific mod you're used to.  If you learn VCE, you can create so many other things, such as a permission system for Fort Wars, or a money-for-points system for a gun shop for TDMs, or a complete City RPG system, and have it run better than a mod ever could because it is more immediate than a mod in creation and editing.
