Author Topic: How did Badspot measure bricks?  (Read 685 times)

When Badspot was creating bricks how did he make them in correct size, like when making the regular and also special bricks so they match with the grid and stuff. Did he just start with 1x1 and then multiply each one as it went on?

A 1x1 brick is 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.6
A 1x1 flat is 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.2

I'm just really curious as to how he did this, is it the game engine that calculates this stuff or Blender/3ds max?

When you export a blb from a modeling program it will save the position of all the faces etc
So you gotta size them right in your modeling program or they are bigger / smaller than the grid and look ugly

Except for those boring cubical bricks, I don't know how it works for those because it only has the size in plates for those
