Suggestion; Remove textures.
I personally like the current trees and using empty textures makes it look a lot nicer.
Also, are you going to add a trooper that is dead? (Possibly with weapons?)

You have absolutely no idea what I was talking about.
I was talking about normal BRICK textures. The stud textures or whatever they're called. It fits in more with the Mini-Empires trees.

so i was able to reduce the count from around 450 to 140 quads per blockhead

But the quads don't bother me at this point. I just won't use the bricks for Mini-Empires. I like how they look.

You really need customizations. Without needing to put a whole bunch of sets of bricks, you should maybe come up with like a gui or command to change how they look like. You can hide the different parts of the brick by making them invisible somehow and when you say a command like /hookhands then you click the brick, then it changes.

Maybe for cannons we can do /maketank and for rowboats /makebattleship.
