or actually write something up more than what you have there now.

i've given my fair share of building tips but here's one, along the line of

what he means is to make cube-style trees, using standard default cubes and modter, zone-like cubes, and overlap cubes to get a neat tree foliage shape, on top of a standard-built trunk. It can really cut down on brickcount; a tree once needing 100-200 bricks can suddenly now be 30-60 bricks.

Setro:

-Be creative.
-Don't make a house thats 100% gray. In fact, try not to use grey.
-Use 1x16 bricks on the bottom of the walls, and recolor them to be a darker color (ex: walls are blue, lines are dark blue)
-Use as many special bricks as you can.
-Under any circumstances, do not make flat roofs. Those are just ugly.
-Make sure to put 2 layers in the walls so it's a different color inside.

Sometimes I forget one or two of these, but I hope you find these helpful.

Reinforcements:

Use as many 1x1 plates as possible

Study other people's builds in order to learn specials techniques to enhance your own builds.

Brickitect:

practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice!!!

thats how i got to my current skill level.

building tip- be efficient, use larger bricks (ex: the x5 height bricks instead of the 1x heights, smaller brick count, and it looks better because there are less lines)
