Something like that, all I really know is it got really red and no fix was done. --- End quote --- It was a lighting issue, players would be tinted blue, but the ground would be red, swapping the red and blue values for the lighting would make the ground blue again, but the players would be red Somehow, the map's red and blue values for the lighting were swapped |

--- Quote from: 16-Bit on May 24, 2013, 11:34:33 PM ---They removed it due to how buggy and laggy they were and to remove "limitations". All we got from it so far are shades and shaders and please refrain from posting things like this, they can stir up stuffstorms. --- End quote --- Seriously though, they remove something that everyone can run (they weren't laggy) because apparently it affected how the game updates and was slow and buggy and then replace it with something that almost only about half of the community can run. They said the removal of terrains would pave way for more feature(s) but I guess by that they just meant for shaders because we haven't gotten anything in the last 9 loving months. Wait a minute, why the hell did we use per pixle lighting which is a FPS hog that has a lot of requirements rather than something like Voxel lighting? Badspot could have made it look a lot better than how other games currently present it so I don't see why he didnt pick it. |
