Do you think Badspot would have put in maps if he knew he was going delete them?

its kind of hard to say that blockland runs off of torque engine, since it's modified to the point where you can almost say blockland is it's own engine

Actually, Blockland's engine and Torque Game Engine are about 95% similar. Really the only changes he has made are adding a datablock type of fxDTSBrick, removing maps, adding shaders, and changing a few things like packet size to allow more bricks in builds. Every other change he made was done in Torque's scripting language and compiled to a DSO. These don't count as changes to TGE because while TGE ships with example files they are not licensed under TGE. If you were to generate a perfect C++ representation of Blockland's binary, most of the defined functions would be exactly the same.
