Do you think Badspot would have put in maps if he knew he was going delete them?

Masterlegodude:

The maps were always there since this game came about, but as the game got more and more updates, the interiors and terrains were getting more and more in the way of making updates and possibly adding in new stuff

I think i'm correct, at least

chrisbot6:

Badspot never put maps in the game. They were a default and basic feature of the Torque Game Engine version he chose to use.

Crispy_:

Hmm...

Well considering maps are a core feature in the torque engine (I think) perhaps maps would have already been in blockland from the start.

I don't think anyone's asked this question before. Besides, it's not like he's complaining about maps being gone he's just asking a question.
There's really nothing wrong with that, you guys need to cool your jets a bit.

Anyways, I bet that if he knew what it would cause in the future when he first started developing blockland I doubt that he would have included maps.

Acerblock:

So technically, Badspot modified the game engine even more then he did before?
