Author Topic: Brick Planting OverRide  (Read 6632 times)

as far as i know if you plant a brick inside a brick due to the oct system the bricks won't show and it will cause less lag than most would suppose.

i recall this being mentioned by some coder who made a gallery topic on "spot the errors" and used overlapping bricks to create some neat things.

Ghost's modular terrain bricks are default, and you can build in them. And, when you build in modTer bricks, some textures are invisible. So yeah.

it's functional, yes

but the entire point of this is to break default parts of the game lol

Then take out your hammer, aimt at the brick cluster, and click

BRICK EXPLOSION
probably would just do a 'tink' and do absolutely nothing

Never mind lol

Since the bricks are completely inside each other they don't support each other, and ALL bricks will kill at the exact same time creating a giant explosion of bricks

At least that happened the last time I was bored

Then take out your hammer, aimt at the brick cluster, and click

BRICK EXPLOSION
In a brick shower, and sing

Please explain how to accidently type "/clearfloatingbricks"

"Accidental use of" can be interpreted as either moderate or extreme, such that it could be either the floating bricks due to this mod could be deleted accidentally, or the command could be accidentally used.  I'm sorry if this caused your inability to formulate other plausible scenarios any trouble, but I meant the former.

Is there any fail safe to make sure that the floating bricks due to this mod are not cleared if /clearfloatingbricks is used?

Hey Marble, when I place a brick that is modeled overtop of others, it turns into a normal brick, and you can't see the model.

   function serverCmdClearFloatingBricks(%client)
   {
      if($OR::EnableCFB == 1)
         Parent::serverCmdMessageSent(%client,%msg);
      else
         messageClient(%client, '', "CFB: forget off");
   }

???

read the op...
it is admin only
it only says the commands are admin only
might want to clarify

uh...
so, you can use commands as an admin, or force people into the overlap by setting their mOL variable...

unless you force people to use it. It's admin only :/

Better if you use a D-Wand.
