Default Styled Weapons not working

They don't seem to reload for me. Does anybody know an answer to this problem?

I think he means those add-on ones styled like defaults.

also, Have you tried using the light key? they don't reload automatically.

The light key is the reload key, if you were pressing R and your light key isn't bound to that, it won't work. The default light key is L, I suggest changing it to R, its a easier way to access light, and a easier way to reload without moving your fingers so far
