I'm pretty sure many people would want to continue developing RTB if ephi would let them

RTB simply is the best hosting service because of these features and their exclusiveness

--- Quote from: Rub on May 29, 2013, 02:07:43 PM ---The people outside the RTB hosting bubble can do it however they want, we're just suggesting a feature that benefits our customers (who happen to be a lot of people, check your data).

People can build off our idea and do it however they want, up to them.

I'm talking about more than just this feature. Ephialtes only cares about his customers. Actually, that's not true. Ephialtes rarely responds to support tickets.

Since the launch of the hosting service, free RTB has pretty much frozen.

Ephialtes specifically forbids any further development of RTB unless he says so:

--- Quote from: license.txt ---This work is licenced under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 UK: England & Wales License. To view a copy of this licence, visit http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.0/uk/ or send a letter to Creative Commons, 171 Second Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, California 94105, USA.

No one can fork it meaning that is has to be started from scratch. Considering he's been so denying of the fact that he's not developing RTB that much anymore, RTB isn't getting handed to anyone anytime soon.

Also, the seriousness of this license should probably be taken as seriously as Ephialtes treated my add-on take-down requests.

I'm glad you support exclusiveness instead of features the community can benefit from.

Lol, I would advise against trusting Kalphiter as the authority on RTB's active development status. He's still a bit sore over ... you know what ...

Okay then. I'll let your publications do the talking.

It's been 9 months since a major update. We're only asking for some active development from you, a person you ask, or from a person to whom you give the mod. A little honesty would be nice.
